Hope Scholarship GPA
The HOPE Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program that is available to students who are residents of the state of Georgia and attend eligible colleges or universities in the state. The scholarship provides financial assistance to help cover the cost of tuition and fees.
To be eligible for the HOPE Scholarship, students must meet certain academic requirements. Specifically, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the end of their high school career, and they must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout their college career.

The HOPE Scholarship also has a provision for students who experience a temporary drop in their GPA. If a student’s GPA falls below 3.0 at any point, but they later bring their GPA back up to 3.0 or higher, they may be eligible to regain their HOPE Scholarship eligibility.
It’s important to note that the HOPE Scholarship program is subject to change, and eligibility requirements may vary based on the specific year and the college or university that a student is attending. Students should always consult with their college or university’s financial aid office or the Georgia Student Finance Commission for the most up-to-date information on eligibility requirements and application procedures.
